We have three Pixel 5a phones in our family with these screen protectors on them. As others have mentioned, the protector does not extend all the way to the edge of the screen. It leaves about a 2.5 mm gap at the top and bottom, and 1 mm gap on each side. This probably helps it adhere better and make it less prone to lifting at the edges. As a consequence it does look better with a case. Other than the slightly smaller size, everything else about our experience with these screen protectors has been positive. The protector is relatively easy to install—the instructions are clear, it's easy to align, and not difficult to achieve a bubble-free installation. Unlike plastic screen protectors we've used in the past, these have no issues with screen clarity, color, glare, or responsiveness. All three phones have survived numerous accidental drops from around chest/counter height onto various surfaces without incident... until recently. One of the phones was dropped onto concrete a couple of times, and the screen protector cracked at the corner one time and suffered a large horizontal crack all the way across on another. This necessitated replacing it. Thankfully, when I removed the damaged protector, it had done its job and the phone's screen itself was undamaged. I installed another of the same protector and the phone looks and works like new again.
