My order just came in. This cane chair is lightweight, easy to fold/unfold, pretty sturdy. I am just below the top of the weight, but held me secure. Definitely you need to use it sitting facing the handle. It could be awkward with a dress, but I will do it anyway. It will allow me portable seating for a day at the fair.Elderly, still able to 'squat' but SO hard to get back upright. With cane/chair, I can sit, bend over, reach whatever I need on floor or ground, & arise EASILY. Always sit 'backwards' straddling cane, use cane handle to arise. Easy peasy. In the description it doesn't say how many pounds it holds. When I got the product the tag on the cane said 220 lbs. Anyway, I got the cane to use at events where there's a lot of standing and scarce sitting areas. I'll be using this for the first time at a baseball game, where I got tickets for standing room only.Overall very lightweight but quite unstable especially for when one is trying to get up from it. Someone who buys this must have control to lift themselves. Not recommended for the weak. The end is rounded, would like it to be a little taller.Bulky to carry. Works OK.I was afraid this would be too unwieldy to carry to the mall but it is not; it is fairly lightweight. Since it is not adjustable, it is perhaps a bit too tall as a cane (since I have shrunk to less than five feet tall!) but it is useable. The best thing is that it unfolds and folds up very easily and does give me place to sit when waiting in line at a checkout. There have been times in the past I would have given anything to have a place to sit down, as standing still in one spot is much harder than walking around and makes my leg hurt more. I hadn't thought about this, but if you find a dressing room with no chair you can use this to sit on while you put your shoes back on...very necessary for an old person. I would recommend this to anyone with the same problems.
